You are the link between DataShip and prospective clients. You uncover needs, address pain
points, and guide qualified leads into our programs, priced between $699 and
$30,000, with 99 percent of sold packages landing between $7,500 and $9,500.
You work primarily through calls and virtual meetings, consultative and empathetic on every
one. This is a commission-based role, so your ability to drive sales directly affects both
your earnings and our growth. You are empowered to make decisions, suggest process
improvements, and keep refining your own tactics.
The hiring entity is JDA Digital Corp LTD, doing business as DataShip.
What you win on
Cash collected. After the 3-month probation, your average monthly cash
collected should increase by 10 percent every month.
Paid in full percentage. Same expectation, 10 percent month over month
after probation.
Calls answered close rate. 20 percent is the minimum goal. Your first 5
calls do not count toward it.
How close rate sets your commission
10 to 20 percent: 8 percent commission, on probation or a performance improvement plan.
20 to 25 percent: 8 percent commission, average performance.
25 percent and above: 10 percent commission, bonus performance.
Under 10 percent: the role does not continue. We would rather say that up front.
What you will own from day one
Client engagement and closing
Be the primary point of contact for potential clients. Run daily calls and virtual
meetings to understand their needs and introduce the right solution.
Overcome objections and close high-ticket sales while keeping clients feeling supported
and informed.
Proactive, data-driven sales practice
Maximize your hours. Work consistently, fill your available slots, and
book as many quality calls as possible.
Prepare and take notes. Research prospects before calls and keep
detailed notes that guide follow-ups and build trust.
Master the script. Internalize our sales scripts so you can focus on
listening, asking probing questions, and defusing objections quickly.
Follow the SOPs. Both the during-call and off-call SOPs, so no lead or
follow-up is missed.
Book a call from a call. Set the next meeting before ending the current
one, and ask for referrals to multiply your own leads.
Bring your own leads. Self-sourced pipeline is what carries you through
slower periods.
Team collaboration and continuous improvement
Take part in team meetings, huddles, and strategy sessions, and share what is working.
Own your performance completely: track your data, adjust based on results, and keep
hunting for ways to lift conversion.
Professionalism and accountability
Show up prepared and on time. We do not hold unnecessary meetings, so when one is on the
calendar we expect you there and ready.
Be hungry. Challenge yourself to beat targets rather than meet them.
Requirements
Sales experience. Proven track record in high-ticket sales, ideally
$2,000+ products or services, with at least $100,000 in total sales. Experience selling
$25,000 to $30,000 programs is preferred.
Negotiation and communication. Comfortable discussing personal finances
and handling sensitive conversations with clarity and professionalism.
Industry familiarity. Door-to-door or consultative sales is a plus.
Coaching, online business, or mastermind industries is a bonus.
Customer service mindset. Prior customer-facing experience and genuine
interest in helping clients succeed.
Team commitment. Coachable, receptive to feedback, committed to your own
growth.
Availability. Flexible across weekends, evenings, and mornings as
business demands.
Ownership mentality. No excuses on targets, full accountability for
results.
Preferred, not required
Data experience as an analyst, scientist, or engineer.
Familiarity with the North American job market.

handle the backend call yourself. Commission runs 8 to 10 percent depending
on your close rate, and is paid on the 15th of the month following the sale.

The good, the average, and the ugly
We would rather set clear expectations than sell you a dream, so here is all three.
The ideal. One Gold close per month is $2,000 to $3,000 USD. Five Silver
closes per week is roughly $3,000 to $4,750 per week, about $12,000 to $19,000 per month.
Under optimal conditions you could reach $22,000 USD per month.
The average. With around 8 hours of calls per week, a typical month is 3
Silver closes, roughly $1,800 to $2,850 USD. Earnings scale with effort
and call volume.
The ugly. Some clients in our niche have limited funds up front. We
sometimes arrange a custom plan where they pay a minimum of $500 CAD per month until they
land a job, with the balance over the following 3 months. Your commission on those
installments arrives over several months instead of all at once. The upside is that the
payments keep coming while it clears.
Additional ways to earn
$500 USD per lead you bring that turns into a client.
Up to $3,500 USD per client if you also take on a Data Career Coach role.
Roughly $35 to $100 USD per hour for project or result-based product work.
Benefits
Flexible, fully remote work.
Uncapped earnings through competitive commission rates and performance bonuses.
A 13-month bonus after each 12-month period, based on your average commission.
Continuous coaching and training to sharpen your sales technique.
Growth paths into sales manager, client backend selling, Data Career Coach, or the
product team with a share of passive income.
A collaborative team that values every contribution.
Hiring process
Application submitted and reviewed.
Initial screening interview, situational questions and career goals.
Technical interview. You get prep work in advance, then a mock interview on how you
would handle real situations.
Possible team fit and performance review interview.
Training and onboarding
Day 1. Welcome to DataShip: orientation, values, brand, and the business
at a high level.
Week 1. Customer, offer, and product training.
Weeks 2 to 3. Sales training, then shadowing or your own calls if you
are ready.
